Girardengo's 3rd Lombardia Victory
Costante Girardengo led a 3 rider breakaway and won his 3rd Giro di Lombardia victory. It was his second in a row.
SPECIAL NOTE: Timeline 1922, Benito Mussolini marched on Rome and started to take control of Italy. In October (a month before Lombardia), Mussolini established his Fascist regime.
