Raes Wins the Sprint
The 17th edition of Liege-Bastogne-Liege was held on April 10 ,1927.
Racing in cold ‘Ardennes Spring’ weather, 54 starters rolled off for a tough 231 km race.
Maurice Raes (Bel) out sprinted a 22-rider peloton for the 1927 Liege-Bastogne-Liege victory.
