2nd Edition of "Le Doyenne" Houa Times 2
The 2nd edition of Liege-Bastogne-Liege (La Doyanne, the old lady) returned on May 28, 1893 and followed the same race course of the previous year. Again the 26 starting riders (with pacers) were all amateurs.
Defending champion Leon Houa again controlled the race and defeated Russian Michael Borisowski in a time of 10 hours and 40 minutes, 8 minutes faster than the winning time in 1892.
