Chiesi Escapes from Binda
The 1927 Milan-San Remo was run on the same day as the Tour of Flanders. Pietro Chiesi (Ita) rode over the Turchino Pass in the lead and soloed alone the coast for to the victory 9 minutes in front of the great Alfredo Binda.
