French Superstar's Breakaway Victory
Frenchman Henri Pelissier's powerful Bianchi-Pirelli controlled the race. Pelissier broke away from the Italian favorites to score his 3rd Giro di Lombardia victory (1911 and 1913).
SPECIAL NOTE: Henri Pelissier became the first rider to win the Giro di Lombardia three time.
