Heavy Rain Can't Spoil the Day
The 25th edition of Liege-Bastogne-Liege was held on Thursday, April 4, 1935.
Alphonse Schepers (Bel) drove the pace of a 4-rider breakaway through a heavy rain.
Schepers (Dilecta) out sprinted his breakaway companions Frans Bonduel (Dilecta) and Louis Hardiquest (De Dion) for the prestigious victory in Liege.
Belgian Alphonse Schepers earned his third victory at La Doyenne.
