Buysse's Dominating Win… Again!
The 25th edition of Tour of Flanders raced 198 km from Gent to Wetteren. Damage to the roads caused by the war made the racing conditions even tougher. This edition was the only race in its history held on a course of less than 200 km.
Achiel Buysse drove the pace of a 7 rider breakaway and won the sprint in Wetteren for his second straight Tour of Flanders victory.
