The legend of Henry Wilmer starts with "Henry goes to every race to do one thing…RACE!" There is no such thing as a slow pace if Henry is in the field. He will go to the front and set an honest tempo, it's not in his character to "sit in". He is well respected by his peers for his gritty efforts and outstanding strength on the bike. Henry's real ability is his climbing, as witnessed by his outstanding, solo victory at the international Stowe Road Race. In addition, his third place (GC) at the Killington Stage Race and two bronze medals at the District Time Trial are representative of one "hell of a rider". The legend of Henry Wilmer lives on in the memories he provided for NEMRT over the years. Henry is well placed in the Hall of Fame.
