Killington Stage Race August 30- Sept 3, 1990 Masters 45

Strong, consistent riding propelled perennial strongman Henry Wilmer into 3rd place overall in the Masters 45 division. In the time trial Henry finished 7th 51 seconds behind. Henry made a huge move in the Bear Mt. Road Race. On the climb to "Bill's Country Store" Henry pulled off the "Balser Move" setting a blistering pace and attacking down the hill, flying away from the field. On Bear Mt. road to the finish only Artie LeBlanc and John Parkenson could catch the NEMRT strongman. The trio put more than a minute on the tired field and put Henry into 3rd place overall. Stage 3 the criterium, not Henry's strongest suit but on this day would serve him well. "Sprint points" (with time bonus) and "King Of the Mountain" points were scored by the flying Henry Wilmer. In the final lap three sprinters would take Henry's wheel and pass him at the end. A tired Henry would finish the Killington Road Race in fine fashion and complete a great weekend of racing.
