Watergate Break-in Trial - former Whitehouse officials John Mitchell, H. R. Haldeman, and John Ehrlichman were convicted of complicity in the Watergate break-in cover-up.
Presidential Assassination Attempts - September 5, 1975, Lynnette “Squeaky” Fromme, a Charles Manson Family member, tried unsuccessfully to assassinate US President Gerald Ford in Sacramento, California. September 22, 1975, Sara Jane Moore tried unsuccessfully to assassinate President Ford.
NYC Bomb - December 29, 1975 , an unexplained bomb devastated LaGuardia Airport in New York City, killing 11 people and seriously wounding 80 others. No person or radical group has ever claimed responsibility for the bombing. To date, the case has never been solved.
