Le Auto Headline: “The Thoroughbred Triumphs…”
Henri Pelissier and his brother Francis used the famous hill at Doullens to generate an elite 4 rider breakaway. When the final cobbled section at Hem arrived, Henri launched the winning attack. He rode into Roubaix to a thunderous ovation and the victory. Francis finished 2nd crossing the finish line on a flat tire.
