The book consists of a compilation of over 1000 trivia questions on cycling history.  This book includes the “best of the best” trivia questions that have been presented on the CyclingRevealed.com website and titled “Trivia Monday” that was first presented in 2005 and has attracted an international audience. The quiz activities are composed of a variety of question types and are organize by categories that range from specific historical races to general cycling knowledge. Answers are provided, often with interesting anecdotal information. Scoring is provided for each quiz that challenges the participant to achieve points and to record their performance. This book can be presented either as a traditional paper-based product, an electronically distributed product using quiz and scoring technology, or as a series in a weekly/monthly publication. The purpose of this book is to provide the cycling enthusiast the opportunity to challenge their knowledge of cycling history and to provide them with new information. It can be used as the basis of competition amongst a group of cycling colleagues, as a fun ice breaker in cycling social gatherings, or as a solidary activity for the curious cyclist.

Bicycle racing at its highest levels has always fascinated millions of fans all over the World. CyclingRevealed draws on the rich history of elite professional racing to take you on a journey through our fascinating sport. There are the Grand Tours, the Classics, Great Champions and Domestiques, Famous Climbs and much more.

The Tour de France (TdF), the Giro d’Italia (GdI), and the Vuelta a Espana (VaE) have revealed the great racing tales and secret treasures that make our sport so special.
A Classic is: “A single day race of the highest standards with lasting significance.” Of these races Five (5) are known as the “Monuments”: Milan-San Remo, Ronde van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders), Paris-Roubaix, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, and Giro di Lombardia.
