Putney Road Race May 19, 1991 Masters 35
A tremendous turn out by NEMRT proved extremely worthwhile: women's
squad went 1-2 in the masters division and on the men's side the
Team successfully defended the title won last year by Peter Moss.
The honors this year went to Mark Hagen after Rich Balser initiated
a break with 2 others on an midway climb. Mark bridged up before
the long climb and the 4 continued the escape. In the end Mark
over powered the group and hammered out the win.
Kathy Swanson took the win for the women, Jane Oliver was 2nd
and Cindy Joiner finished with the pack.
