Bay State Games June 9, 1991 Masters 35

Peter Moss powers break at Bay State Games. Peter took full advantage of the opportunity to join the breakaway attempt halfway through the 25 mile criterium. Riding in oven like temperatures (upper 90's) Peter escaped with 5 other. With long flat straights, the pack would close on the breakaway only to be slowed in the hairpin corners. After a large lead the break would sprint home with a 20 second advantage. Through the final corner Peter tried to jump clear of his breakaway companions. Only Jim McMillian would answer the move. At the line McMillian took the victory with Peter second.
