Biddeford Criterium July 15, 1990
Master 35+It was a beautiful weekend for racing in Maine, Mauricio and Alice certainly picked the right dates! Biddeford held on the day after the Saco Criterium, the Biddeford course provided an excellent compliment to the flat, fast loop from the day before. With a short but punishing climb early in the race the pack was soon thinned. In the last third of the race Stowe's Crosby Hurd opened a gap while teammate Rich Balser blocked. A lap later Mark jumped around everyone and joined Crosby in the Break. Coming into the final downhill, off-camber corner, where he crashed the year before, Mark put the medal down and won the sprint. John Bradley worked hard all-day and finished 9th.
