Ed Morandi was twice a member of NEMRT. In 1991 Ed joined NEMRT for the Killington Stage Race to help support Mark Hagen's efforts to win the race and rode a very distinguished race. In 1994 Ed was again given a release to race with NEMRT for Killington, only this time as the top NEMRT rider. He had two outstanding second place finishes in the hardest master's stage race around. Unfortunately, NEMRT was unable to convince the talented Morandi to sign up with the team following KSR. As of 1996, Ed could be seen at the front of the pact with the very strong Heart of New England masters race team. Ed is not only in the hall of fame for being a great rider but for being one of the friendliest riders on the racing circuit.
