Armstrong is one of the greatest Tour de France riders of all time. What he has achieved in the sport of cycling is truly amazing after surviving the illness (cancer) that almost took his life. His victories and achievements inspire 10's of thousands of cancer patients annually. After his sixth Tour de France victory, he began his push for an unprecedented seventh consecutive Tour de France victory.
