The second day of the Vuelta and a stage with a lot of alternatives. The nerves of the first kilometers usually influence the plans an entire squad. The peloton is very capable of riding the first thirty kilometers in Granada at full speed. It is a stage offering a great spectacle scenery with a first passing in Cordoba after 150km. The stage offers an early challenge with the climb of the category 2, San Jeronimo, at only thirteen kilometers from the finish line in Cordoba .
