Newport, RI Team Time Trial August 14, 1988 Masters 35

NEMRT's Steve Levene and Mark Hagen tried a new venue this weekend in the form of a team time trial. The perennial winners Peter Bates and Paul Segal were again the favorites for the win. Steve and Mark got an early start time on a hot and wind Sunday morning. This proved to be of some help in their quest for victory. However, in the end their strength, teamwork and riding the 10.1-mile course in the scorching time of 22:40 all combined to bring home the gold.
