Vuelta a Espana 2005: Preview and Profile Stage 7

Friday, September 2nd Stage 7: Teruel to Vinaros 212.5 Km

The riders will face another long stage with more than 200 kilometers of very different climatic changes. The province of Teruel offers a panorama stage called the “leg breaker” with four category 3 climbs in the first 81 kilometers. Stage 7 is ideally suited for attacking riders. Crossing into the Castellon region, the pressure of the sea and the humidity will play a role. Following the 4 climbs in the first half of the race the landscape is flatter with a gradual descent into Vinaros and the stage finish.
