Vuelta a Espana 2005: Preview and Profile Stage 6
Thursday, September 1st Stage 6: Cuenca to Ski Resort Aramon Valdelinares 217 Km |
The hectic rhythm of the first five stages can cause problems for the riders on their way to Valdelinares. The stage is full of breakaway opportunities with a first climb after only 27 kilometers. The climb of Puerto el Cubillo , the second one of the day, may break the peloton into distinct groups. After passing through Teruel, the riders will face the climb of the Alto de San Rafael before finishing climb to the ski resort at Aramon Valdelinares.
