Tour de France 2007: Preview and Profile
Sunday, July 8th Stage 1 : London to Canterbury (England) 203 Km |
After leaving the heart of London at the Tower Bridge the stage rolls off through a neutral start. The official flag drops when the race reaches Greenwich and the racing starts for real. This is a flat/rolling route through the English countryside passing many legendary cathedrals. Several challenging climbs will test the Green Jersey contenders, but the sprinters' trains should prevail.
