Why Cycling.TV

This is a quick pitch for why Cycling.TV is a great site and a great deal.

This year's classics were all live and fabulous races. Also we were watching the Giro live everyday.

If you missed all the races live, the good news is most races are archived for some time so you can watch them in an edited version. The live broadcasts are of course the best as they have little or no commercial interruption.

The " premium " channel is well worth the small cost for several reasons:

•  First is that they are a small company that only gets the rights to certain races depending on their cash flow. A vastly expanded programming list this year included virtually all the classics including Roubaix and Flanders live because of increased subscription income.

•  Second is that all the big races are exclusively on the premium channel, both live and archived.

•  Third is that they have a higher band width for clearer video on the premium channel.

We should be supporting such entrepreneurs if we want to see live pro cycling in the USA these days.

The subscription is for twelve months (August to July next year), so if you sign up now you'll get to see everything archived for this year, all the classics etc., (even last years worlds) and all the classics live next spring as well... a great deal.
